Cairn Youth Network Ambassador

This opportunity is ongoing, with no end date.

The Cairn Youth Network is a branch of the charity dedicated to raising awareness about domestic abuse to students on university campuses across the UK. This programme predominantly encourages volunteers to create and run a society at their university students’ union, and use this as a platform to raise awareness about this issue. Ambassadors will be raising awareness about an issue that is predominantly considered taboo. You will effectively be opening up a dialogue about this issue, removing the stigma associated with it which in turn, will encourage those affected to come forward and seek the support they need. In return, Ambassadors will receive the opportunity to expand their network, obtain mentoring from our directorate, gain excellent experience to cite in job applications and at interviews, a reference and much more.
