Welcome to your Students' Union at the Heath Park Campus!

The Heath Park Team is made up of your VP Heath Park Campus and a group of SU staff. We work to enrich your student experience at the Heath and make it the best it can be, whether that’s celebrating your achievements alongside you or being a supportive and helping hand when you might need it. We offer a range of services such as Student Advice, Jobshop, Skills Development and are your touch point for any Heath Park Societies and Medics’ Sports Clubs.

You can find us in the IV Lounge within the Neuadd Meirionnydd building at the Heath campus, right by the student café. We hope to see you around campus during one of our many pop-ups and campaigns too!

The SU hub is staffed Monday to Friday, from 10:00 to 14:00. If you have any queries out of these times, just drop us an email at SUHeathPark@cardiff.ac.uk

Student Spaces

The IV Lounge is open Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 22:00 , and is a great space to study and socialise.

The SU Common Room is open 7 days a week, 07:30 - 22:00, with a hot water tap and microwaves available.

Student ID is required to access these facilities after 4 pm and during weekends.

Campus Photo Competition (Heath Park): 25th September midnight - 1st October 11:59pm; Heath Park; Try your hand at photography while getting to know Heath Park, and be in with a chance of winning £10 in the IV Lounge!

Heath Park Freshers' Fair: 27th September 11am - 4pm; CMC Sports & social club; We host a range of fairs during Freshers' Week, giving you the opportunity to meet the students who run our clubs and societies, find out what services are available to Cardiff University students, and also pick up some awesome freebies!

Medics Netball Give it a go: 27th September 6pm - 8pm; Talybont Sports Hall; We're open to students from all courses who want to play netball, make new friends, and enjoy weekly socials. Not sure if you're ready to give it a shot? Come along to our GIAG session, an opportunity to experience the atmosphere and meet our members

Medics Football Trial/Give it a Go: 28th September 7pm - 9pm; Talybont Hockey Astro

WEMS Garth Hill Walk + Pub GIAG: 30th September 1pm - 5pm; Meeting point - Subway on Park Place; A walk up the beautiful Garth Hill, followed by an optional trip to the pub if you fancy it!

WEMS Bute Park GIAG: 8th October 1pm - 4pm; Bute Park, meeting between Talybont North and South; A walk around Bute Park with a twist! Get your first aid heads on as you navigate yourself around the park in groups, and encounter simulated first aid scenarios. Our events are open to all students - healthcare or not- so bring all your friends!
