What should I do if I can’t vote?
There is a few things to try before flagging this with the Students' Union. If you are having problems logging into all university systems, you may need to reset your password. You should also try logging in using your student number both with and without the ‘C’.
If you are still struggling, you can go to the ‘Still Having Problems?’ link at the bottom of the help page on the website, and it will direct you to our web team, who will be able to help. To make this process quicker, make sure to get in touch using your Cardiff university email, including your student ID number and a screenshot of what you are seeing on the voting page within your email.

Why have I got a £5 SU Voucher for voting?
Electing students into leadership roles to represent the student population in the running of Cardiff Students’ Union is one of the most important things we do each year. For those student leaders to be as representative of the student population as possible, we need lots of students to vote. And when we say lots, we mean the more the better!
So to say a big thank you for taking the time to cast your vote, we're giving all voters a £5 Students’ Union voucher on us!
I have voted but not received a voucher?
Once you have voted for all positions, you will receive an email within 24 hours to confirm how to collect your Students' Union voucher. Collection of vouchers will begin from Monday 13th March 2023 and voters will have until Friday24th March to collect.
