Societies and clubs who wish to book meeting room facilities should go to the room booking page for more details.

Societies and clubs can also reserve space in the Taf for small numbers (availability dependant, enquire at the bar) for those who do not have enough people to host their own event in a separate venue.

Societies and Clubs

Affiliated societies and clubs can currently  book out our venues FOC. On the condition that there be at least a  minimum of 50 people attending the event and that any requirements, such as bar, Audio visual equipment, crew are paid by the society. This now does include security, so if you have a bar or an event with large numbers where security is deemed necessary then you would need to cover this. All costings would be explained prior to the booking.

Large scale events/Balls. We do have the ability to host these here within the Students’ ’Union, so you do not need to go to other venues. Let us know well in advance any plans for large events, style, numbers, dates, budget and we can see what we can do. If you do not ask, we cannot help you

There are some rules/restrictions that have been set for meeting rooms, which also apply to booking the venues. For Example; Guest Speakers, please ensure that you disclose all details of the event/activity when enquiring about the booking and any policies in place, must be followed. We do offer our facilities FOC but this is on the basis that societies and clubs abide by the rules and continue to work with the Students’ Union.

External Clients
