The Lounge Development 2011

The redevelopment programme started in 2011 with The Lounge, a bespoke non-alcoholic social space designed with international students in mind. The area includes Skype pods, computers, televisions, a large meeting room, group study areas, social space for societies and clubs, and a prayer room for all faiths. This project was initiated following feedback from students regarding the lack of non-alcoholic social space in the building and to make CUSU more accessible to international students.
