Following the success of The Lounge project in 2011, funding was granted to build The Centre for Enterprise, Skills and Volunteering in 2012. Replacing staff offices on the 2nd floor of the building, the area was designed to house similar extra-curricular services in one dedicated space, as well as providing modern training rooms and meeting space for student members. The development allowed these services to be re-located to an area of the building with higher foot-flow, increasing awareness amongst students and demonstrating the Students’ Union’s commitment to improving employability for its members.
