All of our elections are governed by our 4 election principles and our election regulations. The 4 key election principles are: Mae ein holl etholiadau wedi’u llywodraethu gan ein 4 egwyddor etholiadol a'n rheoliadau etholiadol. Y 4 egwyddor etholiadol allweddol yw:

• Students must be free to cast their vote without undue influence or pressure Rhaid i fyfyrwyr fod yn rhydd i bleidleisio heb ddylanwad neu bwysau gormodol
• Obey the law, union and university policies Rhaid ufuddhau’r gyfraith, a pholisïau’r Undeb a Phrifysgol
• Candidates should focus on their own campaign and thus avoid interfering with the campaigning of others Dylai ymgeiswyr ffocysu ar eu hymgyrch eu hunain ac felly osgoi ymyrryd yn ymgyrchoedd eraill
• Items produced or primarily used for your campaign must be accounted for within the given allowance in line with the unions’ financial election regulations Rhaid i eitemau a gynhyrchir, neu sy’n bennaf yn cael eu defnyddio, ar gyfer ymgyrch cael eu cyfrif o fewn y lwfans a roddir yn unol â rheoliadau etholiadol ariannol yr undeb

These principles help to ensure our elections are as fair as possible and that all students have a fair opportunity to vote and take part in the process. If you wish to make a complaint about the conduct of a candidate or their campaign team during an election then you can do so via emailing [email protected]. Any complaint must be received with 24 hours of the incident occurring and prior to the end of voting. Any questions should be directed to our Elections Team at [email protected].
