Become a Student Wellbeing Intern

The Students' Union requires three Student Interns to support the work of the Student Advice service. These new roles are:

  •    Student Wellbeing Intern (Volunteer Development)
  •    Student Wellbeing Intern (Web Development)
  •    Student Wellbeing Intern (Creative Content).

The post holders will support the Head of Student Advice and Wellbeing in developing the roles as described in the rolde descriptions below. The successful candidates will be working closely with staff within Student Advice and may also be required to work with other stakeholders, including colleagues within the Students' Union and wider University community.

The successful candidates will be students of Cardiff University with strong administrative, organisational and inter-personal skills. They will have understand the environment in which the Student Advice service operates.

Summary of Positions

Accountable to:      Head of Student Advice and Wellbeing

Salary Band:           £8.74/hour (plus 12% for holiday pay). Wages will be paid every two weeks on a Friday.

Hours:                     10-15 hours per week throughout term-time, with flexibility around individual timetables.

Location:                 Park Place (Students’ Union Building), CF10 3QN. In line with ongoing Welsh Government guidance, these roles are likely to start remotely.

Job Purpose

To provide support the Head of Student Advice in the delivery of student welfare, social responsibility and volunteer recruitment projects in accordance with the deliverables and objectives of the designated project plans.
