The Annual Law Ball

Our annual law ball, held in March, is the most popular event on campus. Hosted in the beautiful Cardiff City Hall, our students are treated to a champagne reception followed by a three-course meal. The black-tie event is a different theme each year, with the most recent themes being ‘Masquerade’ and ‘A Night at the Oscars’. This years' theme is The Roaring '20s!

A Night at the Oscars

The 2019 Annual Law Ball was a Hollywood themed night of glamour held traditionally in City Hall on 9th March 2019. The evening began with a Champagne Reception, followed by dinner and live music.

We then headed to Revolution Cardiff for our after party, where attendees were given a complimentary drink on arrival and we had our own Law Society area and booths. The ball was an extremely successful evening, with thanks to our 2018 Law Ball Officer, Hawys Davies.

This year's Law Ball is currently under planning. Check back here or on our social media for more information when the time comes.

Emily Williams is our Law Ball Officer for 2019/20. She can be contacted at lawsociety@cardiff.ac.uk for any questions or concerns.
