Halloween is just around the corner and a lot of the societies that you are a part of would probably be hosting Halloween socials soon! I know from my time in societies that it is often difficult to come up with outfits so I thought I would make things a tad easier for you all.

Here are some easy Halloween dress up ideas that do not cost too much (which means you can spend more money on VKs than your actual outfit):

1. The Trashbag: 

This is a fun look for you and a friend! We all hate bin day, and the state of Cathays after bin day is a sight for sore eyes. Why not try this clever costume idea and go as a trashbag? All you need is…. A TRASHBAG! In the attached image you can see Gina taking out the trash (me). FUN! COST: Your Dignity

2. The Toga:

A classic look passed down through generations, the Toga is a great way to show off your bedsheets! A quick and easy fix to all your Greek roleplay fantasies! Just wrap that bedsheet on you, and off you go! COST: A bedsheet, and maybe some cold medication*

3. The Cat:

Do you like your feline friends? Why not just go old school and just rock up in those cat ears and fake whiskers? A fun add on can be a tail so your friends can catch you if you try to run away! COST: headband, sharpie (soap to remove sharpie**)

4. The Targaryen:

With House of the Dragon making an appearance on HBO this year, feel free to visit our friends in Westeros and dress up like a Targaryen! All you need is a smart attire, a dragon from our website (Love Cardiff) and maybe a crown if you’re feeling fancy. COST: Love Cardiff Dragon (£12.99 but you get to keep it after***)

5. Ghost (boo!):

Looking to reuse your bedsheet from no.2? well look no further! Throw it over your head and hide behind the closet to jump out and scare your friends!! Bonus points if you manage to cut out holes for eyes. If you don’t want to cut out holes, just use sunglasses ?? COST: bedsheet

Mae Calan Gaeaf ar y gorwel ac mae'n debyg y bydd llawer o'r cymdeithasau ‘dych chi’n rhan ohonynt yn cynnal nosweithiau cymdeithasol Calan Gaeaf yn fuan! Rwy'n gwybod o fy amser mewn cymdeithasau ei bod hi'n aml yn anodd dod o hyd i ddillad felly meddyliais y byddwn i'n gwneud pethau ychydig yn haws i chi i gyd.

Dyma rai syniadau am wisg ffansi Calan Gaeaf hawdd sydd ddim yn costio gormod (sy'n golygu y gallwch chi wario mwy o arian ar VKs na'ch gwisg):

1. Y bag sbwriel:

Mae hwn yn wisg hwyliog i chi a ffrind! Mae pob un ohonom yn casáu diwrnod casglu sbwriel, ac mae cyflwr Cathays ar ôl y diwrnod hynny yn olygfa sy’n achosi dolur i lygaid pawb. 4. Y Targaryen:

Gyda House of the Dragon yn gwneud ymddangosiad ar HBO eleni, mae croeso i chi ymweld â'n ffrindiau yn Westeros a gwisgo fel Targaryen! Y cyfan sydd ei angen yw gwisg smart, draig o'n gwefan (Caru Caerdydd) ac efallai coron os ‘ych chi'n teimlo'n ffansi. PRIS: Draig Caru Caerdydd (£12.99 ond ry’ chi’n cael ei chadw ar ôl ***)

5. Ysbryd (bw!):

Eisiau ailddefnyddio'ch cynfas gwely o rif 2? wel dyma’r cyfle i chi! Taflwch y cynfas dros eich pen a chuddiwch y tu ôl i'r cwpwrdd er mwyn neidio allan a dychryn eich ffrindiau!! Pwyntiau bonws os ‘ych chi'n llwyddo i dorri tyllau ar gyfer y llygaid. Os nad ‘ych chi am dorri tyllau, gwisgwch sbectol haul ?? COST: cynfas gwely
