Socials
Our famous Taf Monday socials are held from 8:00pm every Monday in The Taf on the 2nd floor of the Students Union. It's the perfect way to meet old and new club members, you can even bring your non-climbing friends along too. They also give us cheaper and earlier entry to YOLO when we hold a Wednesday social there. Stay up to date on our Instagram to find out when, where and what the theme is for our socials. Check out The Taf here.

Revolution allow us to host our large social events, such as our Freshers Social and Christmas Ball, in a private room. They also give CUMC mebers a discount code that provides plenty of drink offers. You can find Revolution Cardiff on Instagram - @revsbarcardiff.

Club Merch
Macron is the official provider of CUMC merchandise, they have loads of sportswear and more for you to choose from. You can find the range of merch options by searching Cardiff University Mountaineering on their website here. You may also choose to visit their store on the ground floor of the Students Union building, however there is a more limited range and it won't be customisable.

In collaboration with Rab Equipment and Up & Under, CUMC also arranges a bulk order of technical outdoor clothing for all your climbing needs. These items are typically fleeces and thermal tops, however some members have previously bought hats and trousers. All clothing bought in this bulk order gets embroidered with the CUMC and Up & Under logo, and optionally your name or initals. Discounts have been as much as 40% in the past, but this may change year by year.
