To join the CUMC you will need to purchase a membership using the link above.
To purchase any memberships the Athletics Union requires you also purchase an Athletics Union membership, to join CUMC this will only need to be a Tier 2 AU Membership.
The Erasumus membership is avaliable to students spending just a semester studying at Cardiff Uni as part of a study abroad program.

Getting strong isn’t the only reason to join CUMC.
As well as being part of a supportive and friendly group of climbers, you’ll also be able to save yourself hundreds of pounds by buying a membership:

- £1 transport to local climbing gyms every Tuesday and Thursday, cheaper than getting the bus or train
- Free mentored sessions in top-rope and lead climbing – typically a lead course would cost £100!
- Personal climbing items such as harnesses, belay devices and shoes to borrow on training nights until you decide that you’re ready to buy your own
- Access to all of our socials such as themed club nights, ice-skating and the Christmas Ball – including drinks discounts at Revs!
- Discounted transport to local and national climbing competitions, including our Freshers competition and Varsity
- Opportunites to climb outdoors across the UK and abroad on our subsidised trips covering all disciplines of climbing
- Learn how to trad climb for just the cost of transport to the crag, a typical non-CUMC trad climbing course would cost around £250
- Access to over a thousand pounds worth of bouldering pads, ropes, trad gear and more

Please note that for club nights where indoor climbing takes place, there are separate fees for entry to the climbing gyms which is to be paid to them directly.
Each climbing gym also offers monthly memberships for those wishing to climb more frequently.
