Cardiff University’s Somali Society is a fun space formed for connection and unity, a place where students of all backgrounds are welcome to gather and be introduced to the Somali culture. One of our main commitments is to meet as often as we can to provide a communal and supportive environment for our members. Creating societal events to bring people together as well as providing entertainment- such as cultural dances and comedy skits which allow for students to meet each other and socialise as well as network. The Somali Society will allow new students to integrate with older students with similar backgrounds and to learn from their experiences in a comparable academic field or as Cardiff University students in general.
