Platform for medical students interested in ophthalmology to meet each other and get involved in projects together
Gain an understanding of the application process to get into Ophthalmic Specialist Training
Platform to get involved in ophthalmology-focused clinical audits/research projects
Work with other ophthalmology associated societies (e.g. – Optometry Society, ENT Society) to gain a better understanding of ophthalmology as a clinical and promote multidisciplinary teamwork
Improve undergraduate teaching on ophthalmology at Cardiff University – provide additional extracurricular lectures and clinical-related events on ophthalmology
