Students for Global Health Society

Cardiff Students for Global Health is branch of Students for Global Health UK, a UK-wide network of students who challenge inequalities in health that persist across the world. We do this through education, advocacy and action at a local level; run entirely by students-and not just by medical students for students- anyone can get involved!

To give you an idea of what to expect, in the last year we attended national conferences, fundraised for some great local and global charities, and ran a short course where we covered topics including gender-based violence and HIV. We also ran many other great events that you can see by visiting our facebook page. Next year we want to do another great job, focussing on education, advocacy and action!

FOR MORE INFORMATION:

Don't worry if you don't have any experience or knowledge of Global Health, there will be plenty of opportunities for training thoughout the year. If you want to get more involved, don't hesitate to get in touch via our facebook page or email.

We are a friendly society made up of people that are very passionate about global health. You don't have to be a medic or even a healthcare student, our society is for anyone who is passionate about global health! We hope to see you at our events!
