Love cake? Master in the kitchen? Consumed by GBBO fever? Enjoy the occasional pub night? Baking Society is the one for you!
We are an award winning, platinum tier society revolving around everything food! We meet once a fortnight on a Monday evening for a bake-off-style competition. Before each meeting, we will announce a theme (e.g. Halloween or chocolate week), which you then bake something related to on your own or as a team at home and bring it along on the evening. Everyone tries all the bakes and votes for their favourite and at the end, three spoons are awarded, including the prestigious golden spoon! You will also receive a small prize, usually in the form of chocolate ;) And P.S. you don't need to bake! You can always attend without a bake, but we prefer it when you do bake because we get to eat more!
Worried about allergies? Don't worry we got you covered - all entries have to bring a list of ingredients at the bake for complete openness (we cannot guarantee that there will be food tailored to your dietary requirements however feel free to bring your own)!

Everyone's welcome, whether you're a complete novice or an avid baker, and everyone comes from a variety of backgrounds and baking abilities. It's a great place to meet new people, taste new recipes, and improve your skills!
