Emma Garland is a writer and editor, specialising in pop culture, sexual politics and music. Her work has been widely published in The Guardian, VICE, Rolling Stone, Esquire, New Statesman, and The Sunday Times, among other publications.

Emma is a self-professed Lana fan, who recently delivered a lecture entitled ‘Lust for Life: A Lecture on Lana Del Rey’ at London’s Moth Club. She is also a Cardiff University alumnus, having completed her MA in International Journalism here! Her article, ‘The Revolutionary Pleasure of Lana Del Rey’ (VICE) is definitely worth reading to get a flavour of what’s to come!

This event will feature a lecture on the relationship between pain and pleasure in Lana's music, followed by a short Q and A session with Emma.

Please note that the lecture contains some sexually explicit content. Strictly NO FILMING permitted.

We can’t wait for Emma to ‘impart on us her wisdom’!
