Finding us:
When you enter the sports centre, turn left and head up the stairs or ramp, then follow the corridor around the corner. Once inside the sports centre, continue walking to the top and you’ll find the session there.
Please sign up in advance via our Sign Ups page so we know how many people to expect! These will be released every Friday, and a reminder will be sent in the club WhatsApp group.
Please wear athletic clothing to training sessions, such as shorts, joggers, leggings, and any T-shirt/sports top. Zips and any jewellery are not permitted on the trampoline, as they can get stuck in the bed of the trampoline and can cause injury. Long hair should be tied back so you can see what you are doing! Please always wear socks or trampoline shoes on the trampolines.
Competitions:
We take part in the Southern Universities Trampoline League (SUTL) throughout the year, as well as BUCS Nationals annually. Competitions cater for all abilities, so whether it’s your very first event or your 401st, there’s a level that suits you!
After all the SUTL competitions, there will also be a social, and you can choose whether to come or not, with a variety of fun themes.
Competition dates:
SUTLs -> TBC
BUCS -> 27th-28th Feb 2027, Sports Central, Northumbria University, Newcastle Upon Tyne

Socials:
We’re a social club as much as a sporting one! Alongside training, we host a variety of events throughout the year, from themed nights outs at our partner Boom Battle Bar or the infamous YOLO, including ‘Dress as the First Letter of your Name’, ‘Cowboys and Cowgirls’ and ‘PJs’. As well as relaxed sober socials, including pottery painting and film nights. There’s always something for everyone to enjoy and a great chance to make new friends!

‘Give It a Go’ sessions:
A relaxed taster session where students can come along, have a go at trampolining, meet the club, and see what it’s all about! No previous experience is required, and everyone is welcome, whether you’re a complete beginner or already have some experience.
Location: Talybont Sports Centre, CF14 3UX
These sessions are just £2 so Come along, have fun, and give trampolining a go!
Frequently asked questions:
Do I need any experience in trampolining to join?
No, absolutely not! No experience is needed! We welcome complete beginners as well as people with previous trampolining experience. We’ll teach you the basics and help you progress at your own pace.
What happens during a typical training session?
A typical training session starts with a warm-up and some basic stretches, followed by time on the trampolines working on skills and routines. Coaches will guide you through exercises based on your experience level, so beginners can learn the basics while more experienced members can work on progressing their skills. If there is a competition coming up, you may want to work on your routine, which will be a sequence of 10 moves on the trampoline based on the level you wish to compete at.
What does the cost of the membership cover?
Membership covers access to our regular training sessions, use of the club’s trampolines and equipment, and coaching throughout the year. It also gives you the chance to take part in club socials; for example, at a social at our partner Boom Battle Bar, you will receive free games and huge discounts on food and drinks, as well as events and competitions where applicable. Also, the AU membership covers insurance and comes with major benefits such as early access to varsity tickets!
Are there any extra costs outside of the membership and Athletic Union price?
There shouldn’t be any regular extra costs beyond the club membership and Athletic Union fee. You may only have additional costs for optional things such as competitions (there is normally a fee to compete and the cost of travel and accommodation), club socials, or trips. We’ll always let members know about any extra costs in advance!
For any other questions, please feel free to message us on Instagram!
Code of conduct:
This is the code of conduct set by the athletics union, which will need to be followed at all times. This mainly links to behaviour at socials but should be followed at all events and training too.

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE PURCHASING A MEMBERSHIP – Failure to follow this may respond in behavioural sanctions, a ban from social venues such as YOLO or permanent removal from the club.
