Commitment to the rugby club can be tailored to meet an individuals academic or external rugby needs, with a range of opportunities for both playing and social members.
The highlight of the rugby calendar is the Annual Welsh Varsity Match. For the 2018 Varsity, the Liberty Stadium provided the stage for our boys to retain the honours for the first time since 2009, which saw around 15,000 students come together to watch our boys in red and black defeat Swansea for the third time that season. The boys then went on to win in the 2019 Varsity emphatically with a record Welsh Varsity victory with the score finishing 78-7 . Varsity is an incredible day for all club members. Other highlights include weekly socials which are not to be missed, organised away days to support our boys and a tour at the end of the year.
