CARDIFF UNIVERSITY NETBALL CLUB 2023/24
Welcome to Cardiff University Netball Club! With 8 teams playing weekly, including 6 BUCS teams and 2 IMG teams, CUNC is a welcoming and friendly club focused on competing at the highest level as well as having fun off the court!
Regular Weekly Training:
MONDAY –
6:45 - 7:30am: 1s and 2s Strength and Conditioning @ Park Place
6 - 8pm: 1s and 2s Court session @ Talybont
TUESDAY –
7 - 8am: 1s - 9s (shooters only) @ Talybont
7 - 8am: 1s and 2s Training @ Talybont
7 - 8pm: 7s and 8s (IMG) Training @ Talybont
WEDNESDAY –
1s - 9s Game Day (Home/Away)
FRIDAY –
6:45 - 7:30am: 3s - 8s on Court Fitness @ Talybont
6:45 - 8:30am: 1s - 2s S&C and court session @ Talybont
SUNDAY –
6 - 8pm: 3s - 6s Court Session @ Talybont
Fixtures:
BUCS and IMG matches take place on a Wednesday, with socials afterwards at Misfits, one of our sponsors for this year.
Socials and Fundraising:
The Netball Club has weekly socials on a Wednesday held at Misfits, one of our sponsors this year. As well as this, we host a Christmas Meal, charity ball and an end of year awards at Revs – another one of our sponsors this year. As a club this year we have chosen to support a variety of charities. Our two fundraising secs this year have amazing ideas for this year which will be released throughout the year. We hope as a club we can come together and show support for these charities.
Membership:
If competing in the BUCS league, a full club membership will need to be purchased which costs £110. This includes a membership to the Athletic Union, BUCS fees, and the regular weekly bookings for the club. As well as this, travel to and from away BUCS games, coaches, officials, affiliations and equipment.
If competing in the IMG league, memberships will need to be purchased which costs £65. This includes a training top, regular weekly bookings, coaches, officials, affiliations and equipment.
If you would like to become a member of Cardiff University Netball club but do not wish to compete in a team, we also have social memberships available. These cost £25. With this, we aim to provide space for girls to come to all of CUNC's social events, such as socials, tournaments, balls, alongside this we aim to implement gym groupchats and run clubs for social members to get involved in.

Freshers Fayre:
25th and 26th September. This is a great opportunity for you to come and meet some of the committee members and ask any questions you may have about the club.
Give it a Go:
25th September 6pm - 7pm. A session cost of £5. Please sign up for this via the link on our Instagram

Trials:
Group 1 – 23rd September 12:30-3:30pm
Group 2 – 26th September 10am-1pm
Second Trial – 27th September 10am - 1pm
Whole Club Trials – 28th September 10am-1pm
A trial fee of £10 will need to be paid, this can be done by purchase on here (bottom of the page) or in person, and you must sign up prior to the trial via the link on our Instagram (@cardiffuninetballclub). All trial information will be sent to you via email in September!
