CARDIFF UNIVERSITY NETBALL CLUB 2025/26
Welcome to Cardiff University Netball Club! With 8 teams playing weekly, including 6 BUCS teams and 2 IMG teams, CUNC is a welcoming and friendly club focused on competing at the highest level as well as having fun off the court!

Fixtures:
BUCS and IMG matches take place on a Wednesday. Home matches for the 1-6s take place inside at Talybont, home fixtures for the 7s & 8s takes place on the outdoor netball courts.
Socials and Fundraising:
The Netball Club has weekly socials on a Wednesday held at Misfits, one of our sponsors this year. As well as this, we host a Christmas Meal, charity ball and an end of year awards at Revs – another one of our sponsors this year. As a club this year we have chosen to support a variety of charities. Our two fundraising secs this year have amazing ideas for this year which will be released throughout the year. We hope as a club we can come together and show support for these charities.
Membership:
If competing in the first and second squad, a full club membership will need to be purchased which costs £110, In addtion to this, you will need to purchase a AU Tier 1 memebership. This includes a training top and covers our BUCS fees, and the regular weekly bookings for the club. As well as this, travel to and from away BUCS games, coaches, officials, affiliations and equipment. You will also be required to purchase the university gym membership, this will allow you to take part in the S&C training sessions.
If competing in the third, fourth, fith or sixth squad a full club membership will need to be purchased which costs £80, In addtion to this, you will need to purchase a AU Tier 1 memebership. This includes a training top and covers our BUCS fees, and the regular weekly bookings for the club. As well as this, travel to and from away BUCS games, coaches, officials, affiliations and equipment.
If competing in the IMG league, memberships will need to be purchased which costs £55. In addtion to this, you will need to purchase a AU Tier 1 memebership. This includes a training top, regular weekly bookings, coaches, officials, affiliations and equipment.
If you would like to become a member of Cardiff University Netball club but do not wish to compete in a team, we also have social memberships available. These cost £25. With this, we aim to provide space for girls to come to all of CUNC's social events, such as socials, tournaments, balls, alongside this we aim to implement gym groupchats and run clubs for social members to get involved in.

Freshers Fayre:
22nd and 23rd September. This is a great opportunity for you to come and meet some of the committee members and ask any questions you may have about the club.
Give it a Go:
23th September 7-8:30PM. A session cost of £5. Please sign up for this via the link on our Instagram.

The GIAG is aimed for girls who are unsure if they want to trial, want to have a practice prior to trials or want to come to ask any questions they may have about the club whilst doing some match play.
It will incude some footwork drills, ball skils & match play.

Group 1 – 23rd September 11-2pm
Group 2 – 25th Spetemeber 11-2pm
Second Trial – 26th September 11-2pm
Whole Club Trials – 27th September 12-4pm
A trial fee of £5 will need to be paid, this can be done by purchase on here (bottom of the page) or in person, and you must sign up prior to the trial via the link on our Instagram (@cardiffuninetballclub). All trial information will be sent to you via email in September!
Once you have registered your interest for our club, you will be emailed to let you know which trial to attend. All trialing memebers will be invited to either group 1 (23rd Sept) or group 2 (25th Sept). If you are successful in your first trial you will be invited to our second trial date on the 26th Sept and if you as succesful in this second trial you will be invited to our whole club trials on the 27th September.
