Women's Basketball Club
Welcome to CULB 2025-2026!
We are a fun and friendly basketball club, welcoming all players - whether you've never played before, or have bundles of experience, this club accommodates for all! Joining CULB is the perfect opportunity to meet new people and make new friends. Amongst representing the university in BUCS at the highest level, joining our other competitive teams, or becoming a social member, there's a whole host of ways to get involved, and we would love to have you as a part of our club!
Even if playing basketball isn’t your thing, our socials are the perfect way to meet amazing people and get involved in a fun and welcoming university society!
Training Sessions:
Our trainings run as following at the Talybont Sports Village CF14 3UX
-Tuesday from 7.00 to 8.30pm (Team 1 and 2)
-Thursday from 5.00 to 7.00pm (Team 2, 3 and Social Members)
-Friday from 7.30 to 9.00am (Everyone welcome)
-Sunday from 6.30 to 8.00pm (Team 1 only)
Freshers Information:
We will have a stand at The Freshers' Fair on the 22nd and 23rd of September. This is the perfect opportunity to meet committee members and ask any questions you may have!
Give it a Go and Trials:
Our GIAG is on Thursday 8:30-10:00pm on the 25th of September 2025
Our trials are on Sunday 6-8pm on the 28th of September 2025
Both take place at the Talybont Sports Village CF14 3UX
Games:
Games are usually held on Wednesdays and team sheets are confirmed on Tuesday evenings.
Socials:
We host weekly Wednesday socials. Information on location, timings and themes will be posted in our social group chat and instagram. We are excited to announce that we will be partnering with Misfits this year to bring you exclusive members discounts, monthly socials, a Christmas after party and varsity rollover. In addition, we will also be hosting a Christmas Meal and end of year awards evening! Sober socials will also be hosted throughout the year in addition to regular fundraising events.
