About us

We are one of the largest mixed clubs within Cardiff University with a variety of members from complete beginners to international players. Our training sessions are great fun- the perfect way to meet new people, learn an exciting new sport or develop your existing skills, and improve your fitness.

We have 4 WOMEN's teams, with 3 of these teams playing in BUCS. The 1st team play in the BUCS Premier South league, the 2nd and 3rd team both in the BUCS Western Tier 2 league. We also have a development team who play games against local universities.

The MEN's side of the club has one team, the 1st team who play in BUCS Premier South league. 

Both the MEN's and WOMEN's side also have a beginner team. We organise friendlies for our beginner team as well as partcipating in tournaments such as the Wales Lacrosse Freshers 6v6 tournament where our MEN's team recently won. 

SOCIALS take place every Wednesday night and always involve a lot of games between all of the teams! Socials taking place in Gassys where club members can get special deals. We then head to YOLO for the best night of the week! We also hold regular sober socials, Christmas and Summer Balls and interclub events. 

TOUR is a brilliant experience and an excellent opportunity to bond with other members. Every year sees the club tackle a tropical location such as Italy for a week of fun, and some lacrosse of course!

We take part in VARSITY against Swansea University each year - arguably the best day of the sport and social calendar. Our varisty is the biggest Varsity of any universities and is, therefore, a day to not miss! Our Women's Team recently won our 2022 Varsity Game and we are hoping for the same success this year!

We regularly participate in charity events. We currently hold the Guinness World Record for the world’s longest lacrosse match. We also support Movember every year with a Charity mixed tournament as well as effort from the men's team to grow a tache.
