This March a group of club members will be undertaking the Welsh Three Peaks challenge in order to raise money for the Helen Keller Intl charity. Vitamin A is a staple part of many diets in the western world, with supplementations easily available. For families living in impoverished environments, this does not come easily, and a lack of vitamin A can cause major problems, especially in children.

Just two doses of Vitamin A a year can massively increase a child's well-being, preventing blindness and reducing the child mortality that occurs as a result of deficiency.

For more information on this, take a look at the Helen Keller organisation page.

The Welsh Three Peaks challenge is a 17-mile-long hike, with an ascent of 2,334 meters. It covers the Welsh mountains of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), Cadair Idris, and Pen y Fan. Over the past few months, we have been completing hikes in order to prepare for this (rather daunting) undertaking, traveling around the Brecon Beacons in all ranges of weather! If you'd like to see our progress, head over to the instagram page!

In order to donate, please head to our GoFundMe!

Every penny donated will be going to our chosen charity, and we hope you can join us in helping as many children as possible!
