Clay Pigeon Shooting Club

Clay Pigeon Shooting Club

Cardiff University Clay Pigeon Shooting Club (CUCPSC) provides Cardiff Students with the opportunity to engage in clay pigeon shooting under a safe and supervised environment as well as being part of one of the country's best shooting teams. At CUCPSC we cater for all levels, from complete beginner to national and international level shooters. We are able to offer support, coaching and advice to all levels.

Furthermore, there is no need to possess a Shotgun Certificate or own your own shotgun to come shooting as CUCPSC provide equipment (shotguns, ear defenders, and eye protection) for all members but can also cater to those willing to bring their own.

Shooting takes place every Wednesday, departing from the back of the Student's Union at 1.30pm followed by friendly and memorable socials every Wednesday evening.

CUCPSC offers the opportunity for all members to compete in the annual BUCS tournament and be part of the CUCPSC competition squad, currently ranked 2nd in the UK (3rd in 2014). At CUCPSC you will also have the opportunity to compete in the multiple University competitions throughout the year travelling from Wales to Scotland as well as local competitions.
