Women Leaders of Afrika (WOLA) is a dynamic, inter-university organisation dedicated to empowering African women through a structured three-tier framework, aiming to combat brain drain and redirect the talents of young African women toward building and strengthening the African Continent even while abroad.
Three-Tier Framework
1. Safe Space for African Women:
-Networking and support groups
-Cultural appreciation events to celebrate heritage and diversity
-Mentorship opportunities with experienced African women leaders
2. Self-Actualisation and leadership development :
-Workshops on leadership/soft skills
-career development and professional training
-Public speaking, negotiation, and advocacy training
3. Community Development :
-Community service projects and collaborations
-Developing initiative aimed at social and economic development
-Working with local and global partners
