Wildlife and Conservation Society

Cardiff University Wildlife and Conservation Society (WildSoc) is a society interested in all aspects of wildlife and its conservation.  We organise conservation field trips twice a month, workshops, training, social events and host guest speakers as often as possible in collaboration with the Cardiff Wildlife Trust group. We also have a Facebook page containing all upcoming events and socials and a Facebook group to discuss anything wildlife-related!

If you love nature and have a passion for conservation, this is the society for you. This is also a great society to get involved in if you want a career in wildlife and conservation, Ecology or Zoology. We especially welcome members with no experience but who are interested in learning more. All of the training and conservation events can help you build up experience that isn't available within your degree scheme, whilst having lots of fun too!

Check all our previous events and find more information about what we do on our Events tab above!
