The Cardiff Pre-hospital and Emergency Medicine Society (PEMS) is a dynamic, medical student-led organisation committed to expanding healthcare students' knowledge and experience in Emergency Medicine (EM).
Our core mission is to provide increased clinical exposure and essential teaching through a robust calendar of events, including:
Regular Teaching Sessions: Featuring expert guest speakers (consultants, registrars, specialist paramedics) who share their real-world clinical insights.
Immersive Simulations: Hands-on, small group emergency scenarios designed to hone critical decision-making and practical skills in a safe environment.
