The ODP society is for all ODP students or others with an interest in operating theatres. Our societies aim is to enhance our members university experience by host various social and educational events. We also aim to provide an extra support system for students out on clinical practice by assigning ‘buddies’ for each health board who will be able to assist first year students. These ‘buddies’ are current second year and third year students.
We also aim to run events that will see us socialising and training alongside other healthcare professions. We will also be running various workshops from revision session to extra practical session such as scrub technique and recovery scenarios. We hope that you will join us.
