Nepali Society

The Nepali Society at Cardiff University aims to create a warm, welcoming community open to anyone. It is a great way to connect with students of Nepali heritage and immerse yourself in the culture!

Our society aims to showcase Nepal's culture, which is often recognised globally as the land of Mount Everest and the birthplace of Buddha. Many of us build upon the long shared history between the UK and Nepal, which includes the integral role of the Gurkha soldiers in the British Army. We strive to establish a welcoming sense of belonging for anyone interested in Nepal or of Nepali heritage, by creating opportunities to meet new people, make lasting friendships and get actively involved in a range of upcoming cultural activities!

We encourage anyone and everyone to attend our planned events, and please don't hesitate to email a committee member with any inquiries you might have - or dm us on instagram: @cardiff_nepsoc

We look forward to getting to know you all <3
