Join us at Cardiff University Meditation Society with weekly discussions and guided meditations to help start or develop your practice. The society is suitable for everyone, whether you're an experienced meditator or an absolute beginner. It is also FREE to join the society, but please remember that to become a member you must join the Guild of Societies (one-off, £6 fee).
Meditation is becoming increasingly popular in the Western world as many of us, including doctors and scientists, continue to discover its wonderful benefits. To name just a few, it has been shown to help reduce stress, anxiety, depression, improve concentration and strengthen our immune systems. By helping you to develop a practice, we hope that meditation can assist in dealing with the stresses of university work and help to create a more balanced and positive life.
Come along to our weekly sessions: currently Wednesday 5.30-7.00pm on zoom, but we're hoping to alternate between online and in-person sessions if we can get space in the SU. The zoom link can be found on our Facebook page, and updates about in-person events will be posted there. New members are welcome to join any time, see you there!
