Cardiff’s Journalism Society is for budding journalists and those interested in media and current affairs! Anyone can join, regardless of what degree you’re studying or what year you’re in!
The society aims to provide regular socials along with opportunities for students to gain experience within the industry through professional links that the society aims to make. This year will be a little different with social distancing in mind, but we aim to hold events such as online quizzes, Q&As with alumni and many more!
For Freshers, being a member of a society is fundamental to university experience and being part of ours will be unforgettable and invaluable both in regards to getting your foot into the media world and and getting to know your peers.
And for second and third years, and even those beyond that, we promise that we’ll continually keep your studies in mind and aim to tailor events around your needs.
With an amazing team of dedicated, passionate JOMEC undergraduates at the helm, the Journalism Society is sure to make your university experience one to remember!
