Hope Not Hate Society

HOPE not hate is the UK's biggest anti-racist national charity, dedicated to defeating hate and extremism - whether at a community level or at a political level.

HOPE not hate students in Cardiff are members of the national charity, and participate at a student level in the activities of its community arm. Our activities on campus are dedicated to increasing awareness and building links between our fellow students and the wider community. We reject the racism, xenophobia and anti-migrant politics that exists today. We want to raise awareness among students of the facts about immigration and different cultures (working alongside other societies to do so) but we also want to campaign for HOPE, and campaign for the positive society we want to live in.

We do this through a variety of inventive means. We canvass, socialise, campaign, and take part in big days of action. There is also the opportunity of free community organising training made available by HOPE not hate for students that want to know how to become effective leaders in the community.

Join us to get involved in an exciting national movement of people dedicated to defending our tolerant and multicultural society.
