Duke of Edinburgh's Award Society
Welcome to Cardiff Duke of Edinburgh Society!
The Society has been running for over 10 years –Winning the Best Small Society 2012-13, Best Medium Society 2013-14, NUS Wales Society of the year 2014 and nominated for best committee 2015.
The society’s main aim is to help students complete the Exhibition section of their GOLD Duke of Edinburgh award, by running expeditions to the Brecon beacons, Snowdonia, and the Lake District. The society supplies quality kit and maps, as well as all the necessary training needed to ensure your expedition runs as smoothly as possible.
Apart from setting you on your way to earning the prestigious award, the expeditions are a great way to explore our beautiful countryside while developing skills and working with like-minded people.

Croeso I Gymdeithas Dug Caeredin Prifysgol Caerdydd!
Mae’r gymdeithas dros 10 mlwydd oed ac wedi ennill sawl wobr gan gynnwys – Cymuned Fach orau 2012-2013, Cymdeithas Ganolig Orau 2013-2014, Cymdeithas y flwyddyn NUS Cymru 2014 ag enwebwyd am y pwyllgor orau 2014-2015.
Prif nod y gymdeithas yw cynorthwyo myfyriwr i gwblhau adran Alldaith eu Gwobr Dug Caeredin AUR, drwy gynnal alldeithiau i’r Bannau Brycheiniog, Eryri, a’r Llynnoedd. Mae’r gymuned yn daprau deunyddiau a mapiau safonol, yn ogystal â’r hyfforddiant angenrheidiol er mwyn sicrhau alldaith hwylus.
Heblaw am gyfrannu at eich Gwobr Dug Caeredin mae’r alldeithiau yn ffordd ddelfrydol i anturio rhai o fannau hardda’r wlad, wrth ddatblygu sgiliau ac yn cwrdd â chyfeillion newydd.
