Cardiovascular Society

Cardiff University Cardiovascular Society organises educational activities, courses and promotes student involvement in research in Cardiovascular Medicine. We are dedicated to inspiring the next generation of cardiologists!

Throughout the year, we intend to host a range of engaging activities, including comprehensive revision sessions tailored to the cardiovascular curriculum and hands-on practical workshops. We will also offer career guidance events designed to help students build confidence and develop a deeper understanding of cardiology both in theory and in practice. We are passionate about promoting interest, knowledge, and career opportunities in the field of cardiology.   

Our aims are:

• To bring together a community of students interested in Cardiovascular Medicine.
• To organize student events e.g. cardiology workshops and revision sessions to improve student’s knowledge on cardiology physiology, cardiac conditions and management.
• To support and inspire medical students into the field of cardiovascular medicine and provide information/guidance on how to specialize in cardiovascular medicine.
