Cardiff GUM Society

The Cardiff University Genitourinary Medicine Society aims to provide a forum for medical students, healthcare students and professionals with an interest in Sexual Health, HIV, and Psychosexual medicine.


What we do as a society:

  • Teaching and revision sessions 
  • Raising awareness for sexual health conditions
  • Spreading best practice for treating patients
  • Provide a space for discussing research

What we can do for you:

  • Connect you with doctors and other healthcare providers in a variety of fields, be that sexual health, child and adolescent services or HIV services
  • Provide opportunities for conferences across Wales and the UK
  • Help you develop research projects, summer projects or SSCs during your time at University
  • Help build your CV with applications for prizes and awards
  • Priority access to ISCE revision sessions
