Student Christian Movement aims to support every student in finding a vibrant, open and inclusive Christian community, where they can explore faith and be inspired to put faith into action. Our branch here in Cardiff upholds a safe space for the exploration and celebration of different demoniations and traditions of the Christian faith. We are fully LGBTQ+ inclusive and affirming and welcome students from all universities in Cardiff. We also support the work of the local Anglican and Methodist chaplains David and Del, and the events they run from the ‘Chaplaincy at 61 Park Place’. We have events to socialise, worship, pray and relax!
As an ecumenical society, we respect all Christians, regardless of tradition, denomination, background, politics, race, gender, sexuality, ability, or class. We value people of all faiths and none, seeking to work closely with other faith societies through interfaith dialouge and support, and by working together to support common charities.
