African Caribbean Society

President's Welcome

Hello. Thanks for visiting the Cardiff University African Caribbean Society website!

As one of the largest cultural student-led societies in Cardiff, we aim to ensure you walk away from your time at university with far more than a degree.

The ACS is primarily focused on educating and bringing people of Cardiff together. We aim to provide a better understanding of African Caribbean heritage through social, educational, cultural and charitable events. It is open to all cultures, and we welcome anyone who wishes to get involved. We are committed to meeting on a regular basis and we aspire to organize events and activities throughout the year that all students can engage in.

So what are you waiting for? Stalk our webpage, LIKE our Facebook page and FOLLOW us on Tiktok, Instagram and Twitter to keep up to date with all our upcoming events.

Don't forget to BECOME A MEMBER to receive discounts and regular event updates!

Got a talent you are looking to explore during your time at university? Please let us know; we are always interested in new talent and our annual showcase, Afrogene, is a great way to express them!

We endeavour to help new students settle in and give current students a social experience to remember & the support needed while studying hard for their degree and a promising future.

Here's to a fun-filled and exciting year ahead!

We look forward to seeing you soon!
