Bula! Welcome to Cardiff University’s Think Pacific Society!
We are a society dedicated to informing and encouraging past, present and future students hoping to take part in a Think Pacific volunteering project in Fiji.
Think Pacific is a charity in partnership with the Fijian Government and Ministry of Health. They work in rural Fijian villages and schools to providing both academic and physical education through their youth and sports project, as well as hosting building projects to help make a difference to the daily lives of the communities.
By taking part in a Think Pacific project you will be signing up for a life-changing adventure and have the chance to experience Fijian culture and lifestyle alongside the local people. You’ll gain a second family across the world and make friendships for life.
Think Pacific is also partnered with Cardiff University’s Global Opportunities Team and therefore as Cardiff Students you get to benefit from the extra university support from the amazing GO Team as well.
Our society is a community for everyone to share their experiences and stories from their time in Fiji as well as aiming to support all future volunteers who are about to embark on their own Think Pacific Projects. We will be here from the start of your application, through your Fijian adventure and up to your return to Cardiff.
