Our Students’ Union is committed to promoting the highest possible standards of services for students and as such aims to recruit exceptional staff with high level skills, abilities and personal qualities to share and achieve this commitment. This is a key function of our Human Resources Department. We have over 100 career staff undertaking a wide variety of roles to manage and deliver commercial functions and services to our student members.

We consider ourselves in Human Resources to be the heart of employee engagement and we strive to ensure that Cardiff University Students' Union is not only a highly effective organisation but also a great place to work. Typical Roles

Head of Human Resources and Learning and Development

This role manages and oversees all HR functions, setting the Department's priorities and deadlines, ensuring effective leadership and management of all support and advisory services.

Human Resources Coordinator

This role provides essential administrative support for all HR services and provides a lead function in the delivery of recruitment arrangements.


What we're looking for

Human Resources is a very busy department. In addition to appropriate experience and qualifications, applicants must have excellent inter-personal and communication skills, a good eye for detail and accuracy, and be able to work effectively in a team whilst managing a range of tasks with confidence and enthusiasm.
