About Me
Shwmae pawb! | Hi everyone! I’m Punyaja, your Ethical and Environmental (EandE) Officer 2021/22 and excited to take up the role.
I come from Pune in India where I completed my undergrad and am currently pursuing my master's in Physiotherapy from Cardiff University since January 2021. I love interacting with individuals and try to get involved in as many extra-curricular activities as possible. I have been a part of multiple campaigns and drives in India focused on cleanliness, hygiene and general awareness.
I am passionate about the environment and closely follow the factors affecting it, which are greatly influenced by our actions as a species. Ethics and Environment, in a broad sense, have been global highlights amidst the pandemic and there has been an evident and accelerating climate change that we are witnessing. I try my best towards living sustainably and look forward to promoting it. I firmly believe that small changes indeed make a big impact and a change begins from within us!

My main priorities for the year include:
- Understand and promote the 3 Rs (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle)
- Help make the campuses more sustainable and environment friendly
- Create and promote ways to limit/ eliminate food wastage
- Direct students towards various resources available in the university (general promotion)
