Press Pause
Exams can be intense. Long revision sessions, placement pressures and deadlines can leave little time to stop and breathe. Sometimes all you need is five minutes away from your desk, a bit of sunshine and a reminder to look after yourself.
That’s where Press Pause comes in.
What is Press Pause?
Press Pause is a new wellbeing campaign designed especially for students at Heath Park campus during the examination period.
Across three weeks, we’ll be bringing quick, accessible wellbeing activities directly to campus to help you take a meaningful break from studying without losing valuable revision time.
Why are we running this campaign?
We know students are busy.
Between revision, placements, coursework and exams, it can often feel impossible to properly switch off. Press Pause is designed to make wellbeing feel easy, accessible and realistic, even on your busiest days.
The campaign encourages students to:
+ Take short breaks during revision
+ Recharge mentally and physically
+ Connect with others on campus
+ Reflect on what positive wellbeing looks like for them
+ Access support and resources if they need them
Sometimes even a small pause can make a big difference.
What can you expect?
We’ll be running a range of pop-up wellbeing activities across campus, including Therapy Dogs, Picnic breaks, Treasure hunts, freebies and pop-ups, mindful moments and much more.
Everything is designed to fit around your studies, with most activities taking 30 minutes or less — so you can reset and get back to revision feeling refreshed.
Looking after yourself this exam season
Exam season can be challenging, and it’s important to remember that support is available.
