Press Pause

Exams can be intense. Long revision sessions, placement pressures and deadlines can leave little time to stop and breathe. Sometimes all you need is five minutes away from your desk, a bit of sunshine and a reminder to look after yourself.

That’s where Press Pause comes in.

What is Press Pause?

Press Pause is a new wellbeing campaign designed especially for students at Heath Park campus during the examination period.

Across three weeks, we’ll be bringing quick, accessible wellbeing activities directly to campus to help you take a meaningful break from studying without losing valuable revision time.

Why are we running this campaign?

We know students are busy.

Between revision, placements, coursework and exams, it can often feel impossible to properly switch off. Press Pause is designed to make wellbeing feel easy, accessible and realistic, even on your busiest days.

The campaign encourages students to:

+ Take short breaks during revision

+ Recharge mentally and physically

+ Connect with others on campus

+ Reflect on what positive wellbeing looks like for them

+ Access support and resources if they need them

Sometimes even a small pause can make a big difference.

What can you expect?

We’ll be running a range of pop-up wellbeing activities across campus, including Therapy Dogs, Picnic breaks, Treasure hunts, freebies and pop-ups, mindful moments and much more.

Everything is designed to fit around your studies, with most activities taking 30 minutes or less — so you can reset and get back to revision feeling refreshed.

Looking after yourself this exam season

Exam season can be challenging, and it’s important to remember that support is available.

Cymer Saib

Gall arholiadau fod yn ddwys. Gall sesiynau adolygu hir, pwysau bod ar leoliad a therfynau amser adael ond ychydig o amser i stopio ac anadlu. Weithiau'r cyfan sydd ei angen arnoch chi yw pum munud i ffwrdd o'ch desg, ychydig o heulwen a chael eich atgoffa i ofalu amdanoch chi'ch hu.

Dyna lle mae Cymer Saib yn dod i mewn.

Beth yw Cymer Saib?

Press Pause is a new wellbeing campaign designed especially for students at Heath Park campus during the examination period.

Dros dair wythnos, byddwn yn dod â gweithgareddau lles cyflym a hygyrch yn syth i'r campws i'ch helpu i gymryd seibiant ystyrlon o astudio heb golli gormod o amser adolygu gwerthfawr.

Pam ydym ni'n cynnal yr ymgyrch hon?

We know students are busy.Rydyn ni'n gwybod bod myfyrwyr yn brysur.

Rhwng adolygu, lleoliadau, gwaith cwrs ac arholiadau, yn aml gall deimlo'n amhosibl i gael saib go iawn. Mae Cymer Saib wedi'i gynllunio i wneud i flaenoriaethu’ch lles deimlo'n hawdd, yn hygyrch ac yn realistig, hyd yn oed ar eich dyddiau prysuraf.

Mae’r ymgyrch yn annog myfyrwyr i:

+ Gymryd seibiannau byr wrth adolygu

+ Arafu ac ailgodi’n feddyliol ac yn gorfforol

+ Cysylltu ag eraill ar y campws

+ Myfyrio ar sut mae lles da yn edrych iddyn nhw

+ ACael mynediad at gefnogaeth ac adnoddau os oes eu hangen arnyn nhw

Weithiau gall hyd yn oed seibiant bach wneud gwahaniaeth mawr.

Beth allwch chi ei ddisgwyl?

Byddwn yn cynnal amrywiaeth o pop-yps gweithgareddau lles ar draws y campws, gan gynnwys Cŵn Therapi, Amser Picnic, Helfeydd Trysor, freebies a pop-yps, meddwlgarwch a llawer mwy.

Gofalu amdanoch chi'ch hun y tymor arholiadau hwn

Gall tymor arholiadau fod yn heriol, ac mae'n bwysig cofio bod cefnogaeth ar gael.
