College Forum

Cardiff University is made up of 24 academic schools which are split between three Colleges:

- The College of Arts Humanities and Social Sciences (AHSS)

- The College of Biomedical and Life Sciences (BLS)

- The College of Physical Sciences and Engineering (PSE)

The Students’ Union holds College Forum meetings which are like higher-level Student Staff Panels. They bring together the Chairs of the all the Student Staff Panels to discuss college wide issues, so for example if a school-level problem isn’t being solved it can be brought to a College Forum.

Chairs are expected to go along to these meeting. Senior members of staff also attend these meetings like the Pro Vice Chancellor for Education and Students, the Deans of the Colleges and representatives from IT and Library services. This is a really good opportunity for Chairs to share best practice in their college. They can share ideas and solutions to common problems with their peers.

In light of COVID19, we've slightly altered the College Forum structure to best suit each College and for effciency. Please see below for the dates of the Forums this year, if you're a Rep you should have a calendar invite from us with the link to the meeting but if you haven't just contact StudentReps@cardiff.ac.uk.
