The following candidates have nominated themselves for the SU Senate Elections 2026. As a Cardiff University student, you have the democratic right to shape the issues your Students’ Union works on and influence how it represents students to the University and wider community.
Use your Vote
Voting will take place from Monday 2 November at 10:00 to Thursday 5 November at 18:00. Make sure you use your vote to choose who will represent you.
All candidates are invited to provide written responses to two candidate questions for the election. These responses are intended to give you an insight into why they believe they are the right candidate and what their priority will be if elected. These responses will become available to view before voting opens.

Mae’r ymgeiswyr canlynol wedi enwebu eu hunain ar gyfer Etholiadau Senedd yr UM 2026. Fel myfyriwr ym Mhrifysgol Caerdydd, mae gennych yr hawl ddemocrataidd i lunio’r materion y mae eich Undeb Myfyrwyr yn gweithio arnynt, ac i ddylanwadu ar y ffordd y mae’n cynrychioli myfyrwyr gerbron y Brifysgol a’r gymuned ehangach.
Defnyddiwch eich Pleidlais
Bydd pleidleisio'n dechrau am 10:00 ddydd Llun 2 Tachwedd ac yn dod i ben am 18:00 ddydd Iau 5 Tachwedd. Gwnewch yn siŵr eich bod yn defnyddio eich pleidlais i ddewis pwy fydd yn eich cynrychioli. Gwahoddir pob ymgeisydd i gyflwyno ymatebion ysgrifenedig i ddau gwestiwn ymgeisydd ar gyfer yr etholiad. Bwriad yr ymatebion hyn yw rhoi cipolwg i chi ar pam maen nhw'n credu mai nhw yw'r ymgeisydd iawn, a beth fydd eu blaenoriaeth os cânt eu hethol. Bydd modd darllen yr ymatebion hyn cyn i'r cyfnod pleidleisio ddechrau.
