Bike Racks

Your VP Heath Park 17-18, Kirsty Hepburn, worked hard to get 70 new bike racks installed around the Heath campus, so please make sure to use them!

Remember that the Heath Park is a public site, so to keep your bike safe we recommend a d-lock. A subsidised version of this lock can be purchased from the Students' Union in the IV Lounge.

Also, OVO has arrived at the Heath! A new hire station has now opened at University Hospital Wales next to the main concourse entrance, which will further improve transport links between Heath Park and Cathays campuses. Find out how to signup for FREE membership here. The first 30min is free for Cardiff University students.

Library Times

The Cochrane Library is open 24/7 for all your study needs! Just remember to have your student card on you for gaining access to the library outside of normal opening hours (09:00-17:00).

Food and Drink Around Campus

There are lots of places around campus to grab a bite to eat:

- The Concourse in the Main Hospital offer a number of places to grab a meal deal or have a quick lunch such as Boots, Starbucks and WHSmiths.

- If you are looking for something hot and affordable the IV Lounge has a brand spanking new menu with a range of meal choices!

- There is also a restaurant in the Main Hospital called Y Gegin offering plenty of hot food choices.

- During the warmer months there is a fresh fruit and vegetable market stall just in front of the entrance to the Hospital.
