Winter Mountaineering Trip - Scotland 6th-8th Feb

CALLING ALL CUMC MEMBERS!!

 

This years winter trip is ready and better than ever, We have got a whole line-up of courses suited to different winter abilities. 

There are 8 spots for the beginner course which covers important winter walking/beginner winter mountaineering skills in snow. (for people with no previous winter experience)

There are 4-spots for the intermediaste course for people who may have been on the winter mountaineering trips in the past, which covers more in-depth mountaineering skills, with the opportunity to use ropes and winter mountaineering gear.

There are 4-spots for the advanced course for people with both, previous winter mountaineering experience and traditional climbing experience. This course will introduce the beginnings of ice climbing.

 

Tickets will released at 6pm on the 11/01/2026, the ticket will cover transportation, accomodation, winter gear (Including mountaineering boots, ice axes, crampons etc.) and a meal on saturday.
