Event Information

The most exciting event of Term 1 is upon us. No, not SWUPL. No, not Movember. CHRISTMAS. 🎁

On Friday 13th November, we will be making the annual pilgrimage to the magical land of North Wales, where rivers flow, Christmas cheer is abundant, and a luxurious bunkhouse awaits us. ✨

🎄 THE PLAN:

🎅 Friday 13th November: Load up the sleigh (also known as the van) and make our way to North Wales (after lectures). Settle into the grotto, spread some Christmas cheer, and prepare for a weekend of festive shenanigans.

🛶 Saturday: Up bright and early to send some Welsh rivers. Santa's elves may make questionable life choices, but at least they'll be making them in a boat. Then it's back to the bunkhouse for a wholesome Christmas dinner, festive festivities, and absolutely no allegations of minor carnage whatsoever. 🎁🍗

🎄 Sunday: One final day of paddling (depending on your fragile little stomachs), before we head back to Cardiff on Sunday afternoon, hopefully with all our paddlers accounted for and only a reasonable amount of emotional damage.

🎅 Rumour has it the big man himself might even make an appearance. Whether that's Father Christmas or someone who's had one too many festive beverages remains to be seen.
