Looking for the perfect way to kick off your university experience? Come along to Cardiff University Kayaking Club's Give It A Go session on the River Taff! Whether you've never been in a kayak before, have a little experience, or you're already a keen paddler, everyone is welcome. Our friendly members will help you get out on the water, teach you the basics, and make sure you have an amazing time in a fun, supportive environment.

The session is all about having fun, so expect plenty of exciting games and challenges on the water, lots of laughs, and a chance to experience what makes our club so special. It's the perfect opportunity to meet new people, try something completely different, and see why kayaking is one of the best ways to explore the outdoors while at university.

After we've finished paddling, we'll be firing up the BBQ so you can relax, grab some food, and chat with current club members. It's a great chance to ask any questions you have about the club, hear about our regular river trips, weekends away, socials, white water adventures, and beginner training sessions, and get to know the people you'll be paddling with throughout the year.

No experience is needed, all equipment is provided, and our qualified instructors will be there to help every step of the way. So bring your enthusiasm, prepare to get a little wet, and come see what Cardiff University Kayaking Club is all about. We can't wait to welcome you onto the water!
