🦇Cardiff Caving Club Freshers Weekend 2025! 🦇

24th–26th October | The Mendips | £35

Come join us for an awesome weekend in the Mendips! Perfect for freshers and anyone new to caving! We’ll be heading out Friday after lectures and back Sunday evening and lots of caving inbetween!!

We’ll be staying in a caving hut (with a hot tub!), doing some beginner-friendly caves in the day, and chilling in the evenings with food, music, and partying!

The £35 ticket covers:
🚐 Transport
🏠 Accommodation
🥞 2 breakfasts + 1 dinner
🧢 All your caving kit

You’ll just need to bring:

• 2 sets of clothes to cave in (no jeans or cotton, quick-drying stuff works best)

• Warm layers (wetsuit if you have one but definetly optional)

• Sleeping bag + pillow

• Dinner for Friday

• Comfy clothes for the hut

• Snacks for the caves

It’s a super chill, friendly weekend and the best way to meet other new cavers before committing to full membership. Spaces go really fast every year, so grab your ticket while you can!

Tickets will be released in 2 batches at 7pm. 10 go out on tuesday the 14th, and 6 more on sunday the 19th. Once they're gone, they're gone! (Archie is awesome)

This event is only avalible for NEW PEOPLE TO CAVING. if you were a member in a previous year, or have been on a freshers weekend before you will not be able to come on this trip. this is to provide the most oppitunitys for freshers and others new to caving. if you accidently bought a ticket, please contact us and we will arrange a refund.
