Thinking about playing rugby this season? Come along to the Cardiff Meds RFC Give It A Go session on Wednesday 30th September at 14:00 and see what our club is all about.

This session is aimed at players who already have previous rugby experience and are interested in representing Cardiff Meds RFC. Whether you're joining Cardiff for the first time, returning to rugby after some time away, or looking for a new club to be part of, this is a great opportunity to meet the squad, experience our training environment, and see if Cardiff Meds RFC is the right fit for you.

At Cardiff Meds RFC, we pride ourselves on providing a competitive rugby programme alongside a welcoming and supportive club culture. We compete at a high level while maintaining a strong focus on teamwork, enjoyment, and developing players both on and off the pitch. Our members benefit from quality coaching, regular fixtures, exciting tours, and an active social calendar, making the club a fantastic place to make friends and become part of the wider Cardiff Medics community.

As a medical school club, we primarily recruit healthcare students, creating a unique environment where teammates understand the demands of healthcare degrees and support one another throughout the academic year. However, we are also open to students from all courses who share our passion for rugby and are looking to contribute both on and off the field.

The Give It A Go session is a chance to experience our training firsthand, meet current players and committee members, ask any questions you may have, and get a feel for the standards and culture of the club before the season begins. We encourage anyone with previous playing experience who is considering joining to come along and get involved.

We look forward to welcoming you on 30th September at 14:00 and hopefully seeing you in Cardiff Meds colours this season.
